Liming Wax Ultra-Magic Microfiber Cloth Bundle
Price range: $69.99 through $232.99
Liming Wax is a smooth paste formulation which produces a white grained finish to relatively open grained timber. Liming Wax can be applied directly onto bare wood but will also work on sealed or stained timber. Some woods benefit from opening the grain with a wire brush before applying Liming Wax.
Liming Wax should be overcoated with BRIWAX for a more durable finish.
DIRECTIONS: Apply liming wax prior to using a finishing coat so that the grain is open and receptive to the liming wax. Can also be used to make vivid colors more pastel.
Microfiber Cloths are wonderful for polishing and buffing; they are also great for removing wax & sealants!
When used dry, your new Microfiber cloth can’t be beat for removing dust, dirt particles, polish, and wax residues. You won’t believe how well they polish chrome and gently buff paint to that “see through” shine! Remember these are super Microfiber!

Why & how to use a Liming Wax Finish:
BRWIAX Liming Wax should be used on a piece of wood with a strong, visible grain – something like oak, ash, maple, etc. The look is to accomplish a white-washed, shabby-chic, or bleached look, highlighting the natural characteristics and giving a sense of depth and texture to the surface of the wood. Work the wax into the grain and then wipe it back so all of the wax stays deep in the grain and is removed from the outer surface of the wood. This is a great technique for bringing out the character of the wood, as well as creating a washed coastal look. Some woods benefit from opening the grain with a wire brush before applying Liming Wax. Apply the wax directly to the wood, pushing the bristles of your brush right into the grain. Use a lint-free cloth (Rustins Lint Free Cloths – Briwax International, Inc) to wipe back the wax. The wax should stay in the wood grain, but the surface can be as white or as translucent as wanted depending on the amount of wax removed. If the finished liming wax coat looks cloudy when dry, use 180 grain sandpaper to remove the cloudy appearance on the surface, this will not change the white grain look. Liming Wax should be overcoated with Clear BRIWAX Original Paste Wax for a more durable finish. Polish with the Ultra-Magic Microfiber Cloth for a satin sheen.
