Toluene Free formula contains the solvents Xylene and Naphtha (mineral spirits.) Solvents are necessary in the formulation of Briwax because without them Briwax would just be a hard chunk of wax, almost unusable. This formula was developed in response to some environmental concerns. Requires a little more drying time.

In 1860, Henry Flack started manufacturing polishes and blending waxes in East London. These products were destined for workshops of the finest cabinetmakers and woodcarvers of the era. After WW2 they relocated in Beckenham, Kent. The original company was acquired in 1961 by J.W. Bollom & Co. Ltd.
